
Inthumathi has recently joined the National University Hospital hands team, after receiving her Diploma in Occupational therapy from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2007. Her other professional interest areas include paediatrics and psychiatry. Her final year clinical placement at the hospital, as part of the hands team, helped cultivate her interest in hand rehabilitation. She also has a keen interest in clinical research. In the future, Inthu aspires to bring occupational therapy to the needy or handicapped children and people of poorer nations, enabling them to engage in meaningful occupations and providing them with opportunities to improve their quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, cooking and traveling.
