
Dr Tan Ter Chyan MB, BCh, BAO(NUI), MMed(Ortho, NUS) MRCS(Edinburgh), FAMS(Hand)Consultant Department of Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery, National University Hospital Dr Tan Ter Chyan graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Dublin in 1995, and became Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2001. He got his specialist accreditation as a Hand Surgeon in 2005.He was awarded the Higher Manpower Develpment Program for 2006 and was a fellow at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. He has an interest in nerve surgery and also surgical rehabilitation in tetraplegia. His research interest is in the field of nerve regeneration. Outside surgery, his interests include cycling in all forms, motorsports and karting. He is also the deputy commanding officer for his medical squadron in the RSAF.
